Senior Civil Engineer – Property and Buildings (Sydney) Due to sustained growth, we are currently looking to engage a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Property and Buildings group in our Sydney office. Our Property and Buildings team is a world-leading management and technical consultancy operating across all sectors. What you will do Work on iconic projects Work in a high‑impact, market‑facing and civil engineering delivery focused role Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works Ensure timely and quality delivery for project and civil engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers About you Bachelor to Masters’ level degree in Civil Engineering Chartered status with Engineers Australia Excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes Solid industry experience on local Australian civil engineering projects , ideally in a consulting environment High level of expertise in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector Sound client facing and account/relationship management skills Excellent project management skills, including managing civil engineering teams Adept in cross‑discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines Highly developed customer‑focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
