We are seeking a data engineer to join our team on an initial contract to support the delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and data quality processes across the enterprise. You’ll work within a hybrid SQL + Azure environment, following established patterns and specifications created by senior engineers. What You’ll Be Doing Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and existing SSIS patterns Supporting integrations between enterprise systems using ADF and StreamSets Working from defined engineering templates, patterns, and solution designs to ensure consistency across the data platform Assisting with data ingestion, transformation, and movement across data warehouse layers (source → staging → mart) Performing data cleaning, validation, and SCD‑related transformations to maintain data quality and integrity Supporting data migration and conversion activities Monitoring scheduled jobs (SQL Agent, ADF triggers) and assisting with operational troubleshooting Participating in testing, defect resolution, and documentation Contributing to DevOps workflows (branching, pull requests, deployment pipelines) within Azure DevOps Working with analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate outcomes Skills & Experience 1–3 years’ experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or similar Strong SQL skills (T‑SQL, stored procedures, performance basics) Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory or SSIS Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, SCD patterns, and data quality practices Exposure to Azure SQL, Data Lake, or similar cloud data services Familiarity with CI/CD or DevOps workflows is beneficial Ability to follow structured delivery frameworks and established patterns #J-18808-Ljbffr
