Pet Circle is well-positioned to capture that shift with a market-leading value proposition, a deeply engaged customer base, and a huge data advantage to guide our growth strategy. As our Customer & Marketing Analytics Lead, you’ll be the strategic and analytical engine that sits right at the heart of that shift. With real-time data at your fingertips across customer, marketing, product and pet profile, you’ll have what you need to turn rich data into clear, commercial direction. This is a high-influence role. You’ll set direction and provide guidance on how we navigate the trade-offs that shape how we invest, where we play, and how we win. What you’ll be doing Building the strategic framework that guides how we invest in all growth levers, including acquisition, retention, performance marketing and customer value-driven growth levers. Elevating the measurement of our marketing investments - bringing rigour to how we evaluate trade-offs. A hunger for driving change - You’ll have all the tools and freedom to make impactful recommendations and drive change. Unlike many layered structures and organisations, you’ll have the potential and mandate to create direct impact. Defining how we measure and grow customer lifetime value, and turning that into clear recommendations on where to play and how to invest. Guiding Pet Circle’s future growth strategies, defining how we should think about investment ROIs and build strategies to drive both short and long term outcomes. Building frameworks, models and reporting rituals that drive weekly and monthly decisions across the collective customer team. Identifying customer prioritisation strategies - which customers we should be nurturing, how, and what that means for future tactics across auto-delivery, app, pharmacy and health. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business to turn insight into decisions that meaningfully shift the dial. The ideal toolbox Significant experience in marketing analytics, customer analytics or commercial analytics within eCommerce or omni-channel retail - you understand the dynamics of performance marketing in an online environment. Both hands-on and strategic - you’re self-sufficient on the tools, and you have the commercial nous to convert analysis into a clear point of view that leadership will act on. Comfortable wrangling large, granular data sets across customer, marketing, product and behavioural data, and turning them into a clear story. Strong proficiency in SQL and modern data tooling - BigQuery and Looker (or equivalent) are central to how we work. On the advanced curve with AI tooling - you’re already using it to pull, structure and interrogate data, and you can show us how. Experience designing measurement frameworks for performance marketing and customer lifetime value, including familiarity with attribution, incrementality and LTV approaches. A confident communicator and influencer who can hold their own with senior stakeholders across marketing, customer value and ecommerce - and who can take ownership of the agenda rather than wait to be tasked. Role location We believe that building connections and collaborating as Pet Circlers is super important. So this role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days per week in our pet friendly offices (your pet might love coming to the office even more than you). This is subject to change in line with business requirements.
