Overview Assist a Senior broker on a mixed book of Mid‑Market clients. This role is for an experienced broker looking to work in an internal support capacity for a senior team member. About the Client Hooker & Heijden represents an ambitious brokerage with extensive expertise in insurance and risk management, primarily serving SME and Mid‑Market clients. The brokerage has seen steady growth in recent years. Responsibilities Support all aspects of a portfolio of roughly 50 Mid‑Market clients. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes, focusing on client retention, new business revenue, and the full range of client capabilities. Provide high‑level support to all team members, ensuring timely and efficient responses to all requests. Deliver excellent service to clients and high‑quality inputs to insurers, including quoting renewals, processing endorsements and amendments, preparing correspondence between clients and underwriters, updating reports, calculating premiums, and making allocations as directed. Assist the Senior broker and the wider business in delivering best‑in‑class insurance outcomes and risk transfer solutions to mid‑market clients across various industry segments such as construction, manufacturing, and property ownership. Qualifications & Skills Strong technical understanding of a broad range of General Lines insurance products. Highly self‑motivated, willing to take ownership and accountability. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team player who works well with others, supporting a national focus on General lines of business. Post‑graduate diploma or degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce, plus qualifications in accordance with the Financial Services Reform Act (minimum Tier 1 Broking Compliance). #J-18808-Ljbffr
