About the Role As the Store Manager at Platypus Shoes Carindale , you will lead a team of casual staff alongside your Assistant Store Manager. Your primary focus will be driving sales and KPIs, coaching and inspiring your team, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will work closely with your Area Manager to identify and act on growth opportunities while operating in a high‑profile retail environment. Key Responsibilities Drive overall store performance by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrate wins, and identify areas for improvement. Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs. Coach and develop team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning. Oversee stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence. Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation. Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high‑volume retail environment. Strong leadership qualities with a results‑focused and proactive mindset. Excellent communication and team development skills. Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage store performance. Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising. Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
