Fiskil is building the infrastructure of the Open Data economy. We’re a developer platform. Our customers integrate directly with our APIs and infrastructure to securely share user-permissioned data. Our customers are often technical teams building directly on top of our infrastructure. Fiskil is scaling quickly. We’ve built critical infrastructure for Open Finance, Open Data, and regulated data-sharing use cases, and our customers are increasingly relying on us for more complex product capabilities. We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer who can lead projects from idea to production. Someone who can gather requirements, understand customer problems, design the technical approach, and deliver high-quality features across the full stack. What do we value? You’ll help design, build, and maintain the core product experiences and infrastructure that power Fiskil’s platform. You’ll work across the full stack and be expected to lead projects from discovery through to delivery. That means: Lead the delivery of end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure Work with product managers, designers, engineers, and customers to gather requirements and shape solutions Lead and contribute to technical architecture discussions and help guide technical decisions within the team Improve platform reliability, observability, performance, and security Identify customer pain points and turn them into scalable product improvements Work in a fast-paced environment where features are consistently shipped, tested, and adapted to customer needs Help maintain a secure and compliant platform by improving controls, monitoring threats, and strengthening engineering practices Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, debugging, documentation, and internal workflows What does our ideal hire look like? You’re a senior engineer who enjoys building products, not just systems. You’re comfortable moving across the stack and taking ownership of ambiguous problems. You likely have: You likely have: 5+ years of experience building production software Strong hands-on experience with Go in production environments Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform Experience building across the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React A strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and production-grade backend services Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code, such as Terraform A deep understanding of security best practices for enterprise software Solid experience with authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and programming language concepts Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply A strong ownership mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment Experience using modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar Nice to have: Experience with OpenID Connect , FAPI , or financial-grade API security profiles Experience working on regulated data-sharing, Open Banking, payments, identity, fintech, or enterprise SaaS platforms Experience with serverless or event-driven architectures Experience with API gateways, secrets management, encryption, key management, and secure cloud architecture Experience building developer platforms, customer-facing APIs, or technical onboarding flows The application process Submit your CV — no cover letter needed We’ll organise an initial call with someone from the team — 30 mins Final conversation with Jake and the team Our culture Every second counts: we spend our time where it creates the most value It’s on you: you’ll have autonomy to own your outcomes Pride in our work: challenge yourself and others to strive for the best #J-18808-Ljbffr
