We continue to grow strongly, supporting everyone from local parties and community events through to leading organisations and venues including Westfield, Home of the Arts (HOTA), Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, and the Gold Coast Exhibition Centre. We’re looking for a hands‑on Store Manager to lead our Gold Coast branch. This role is focused on running the branch day to day, leading the team, delivering a great customer experience, and keeping operations organised and moving. You’ll be well supported by our General Manager and production branch in Brisbane. What you’ll be responsible for Customer experience and sales Deliver excellent customer service in store, over the phone, and via email Prepare hire and sales quotations and handling point of sales Support customers with practical product and system advice Build strong customer relationships and follow through on enquiries Team leadership and branch operations Lead and support the Gold Coast team day to day Coordinate staff workflows, rostering, and branch priorities Maintain high standards across branch presentation and operations Help keep the branch organised, efficient, and customer focused Hire, warehouse and logistics coordination Coordinate equipment preparation, dispatch, returns, and storage Oversee warehouse organisation and stock movement Support equipment maintenance and readiness Assist with deliveries and event support when required What we’re looking for Proven experience leading a team and organising a warehouse Strong customer service and communication skills in retail or hire Comfortable in a practical, hands on role that includes safely loading, unloading, and preparing AV equipment Experience with professional audio, lighting, DJ, or AV equipment, or technology industries Available 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 3pm as rostered A valid manual drivers license Work out of our Gold Coast branch in Ashmore Why Join BJ’s?
