The core of the role is the workshop, keeping things moving, managing the team, staying on top of work in progress, and making sure customers are looked after properly.It suits someone who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment, knows their way around a workshop, and has the people skills to lead a small team through the good days and the difficult ones.Key responsibilities Day-to-day leadership of branch operations with a strong focus on the workshop floor Manage and develop a team across workshop, parts, and administration Maintain WIP oversight and ensure jobs are progressed, communicated, and completed to standard Handle customer enquiries and concerns with confidence, managing expectations and making sound decisions Work closely with the State Parts Manager and State Service Manager to keep operations aligned Monitor branch performance and manage expenses in line with KPIs Uphold safety standards and company policies across the branch About you Trade qualified with a solid understanding of how a workshop operates Experience in a customer-facing or retail service environment and comfortable managing the pace that comes with it A natural people leader who earns respect, communicates clearly, and brings their team with them Technically switched on but adaptable, able to read a situation and respond well Calm under pressure and decisive when it counts Tasmanian-based or genuinely committed to relocating What's on offer Competitive base salary plus profit incentive, uncapped Fully maintained ute, phone and laptop A stable, well-supported role with genuine senior backing A business that is serious about this hire and ready to move quickly for the right person #J-18808-Ljbffr
