We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Trade Specialist to drive trade sales growth and build strong relationships within the local trade community. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you will work closely with tilers, builders, renovators and other trade professionals to grow sales, increase repeat business, and position Beaumont Tiles as the preferred supplier across tiles, adhesives, waterproofing, bathroomware and more. You will play a key role in executing our trade strategy at store level, ensuring an exceptional end‑to‑end experience for our trade customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES… Trade Sales & Business Development Actively identify, acquire and onboard new trade customers Build and maintain strong relationships with local tradies and industry professionals Develop a pipeline of projects and opportunities to drive consistent sales growth Prepare quotes and competitive offers to win new business Account Management & Growth Manage and grow a portfolio of existing trade accounts Increase customer spend through cross‑selling and upselling Re‑engage inactive accounts and expand share of wallet Maintain regular contact via phone, in‑store engagement and site visits Trade Strategy & Engagement Execute Beaumont Tiles trade strategy at store level Support trade campaigns, promotions and supplier activations Organise and participate in trade events, supplier demo days and networking opportunities Maintain strong knowledge of local market activity and competitors Customer Experience Deliver a responsive, solutions‑focused experience for all trade customers Provide expert advice on product selection, technical solutions and project needs Coordinate stock availability, deliveries and project timelines Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally Operations & Product Knowledge Maintain strong knowledge across all product categories Ensure trade areas are well presented and stocked Support accurate quoting, order processing and administration Follow all operational, safety and compliance requirements ABOUT YOU… Proven sales experience, ideally within retail, trade or building products Strong ability to build relationships and generate new business Experience working with trade customers (tilers, builders, renovators) highly regarded Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills Results‑driven with a passion for achieving sales targets High level of customer focus and problem‑solving ability Team player with a positive, energetic attitude Comfortable using systems and technology Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one) If you’re ready to take the next step in your sales career and thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
