Responsibilities Analysis of existing communication structures, including self-supporting towers, guyed masts and monopoles. Check structural drawings and work closely with draftees to execute structural designs. Design new communication structures, associated foundations, mounting steelwork and ancillaries. Liaise with project managers and clients to successfully complete engineering works. Prepare engineering documents including calculations, structural reports and design drawings. Respond to client requests for quotations. Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental systems. Qualifications BEng(Hons) or MEng qualification. Structural steel and concrete design experience, preferably in telecommunications. Advanced knowledge of Australian Standards. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and SpaceGass. Working knowledge of AutoCAD desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
