Your Role in Our Future Registered Nurse Grade 2 – Day Therapy (Multiple Opportunities Available – Fixed‑Term/Ongoing Roles) Day Therapy Unit Our Day Therapy Unit comprises five specialised areas: Chemotherapy Day Unit , Medical Day Unit , Transfusion Lounge , Apheresis and Clinical Trials Unit . Nurses may rotate through these sub‑specialties based on professional interests, skills and development goals. Operating Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (no night shifts). Your Profile A background in acute oncology care (experience in chemotherapy administration, cannulation and CVAD care is desirable; training will be provided for exceptional applicants). Remuneration as per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2024‑2028: RN Grade 2 Year 1 (YP2) $84,188.00; RN Grade 2 Year 8 (YP9) $107,510.00 (full‑time equivalent to be prorated for part‑time). Key Accountabilities Think critically and analyse nursing practice using evidence for safe, quality care. Engage in therapeutic and professional relationships, fostering mutual trust and respect. Maintain capability for practice, ensuring ongoing professional development and safety. Conduct comprehensive assessments that are holistic and culturally appropriate. Develop and communicate nursing plans in partnership, ensuring patient‑centred outcomes. Supervise and delegate appropriately to enrolled nurses and registered undergraduate students.
