Field Research Director Join Domain, a trusted Australian property brand, as part of CoStar Group’s new, dynamic business division. In this pivotal leadership role you will set the strategy and scale our field research across Australia, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality property and tenant data for all company products. Role Overview The Director of Field Research will oversee a high‑performing management team, driving operational excellence, data quality and continuous improvement across product, research, sales and IT functions. Key Responsibilities Set strategic direction for market and portfolio research, lead external representation and serve as a thought leader in client meetings and media. Lead and develop senior analysts, managers and researchers; recruit, coach, onboard and maintain a strong team performance culture. Maintain operational focus, ensuring all metrics, KPIs and quality standards are met; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and deliver accurate data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Real Estate, Economics or related field). 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate research or analytics leadership. 5‑8 years of experience leading large‑scale, dispersed teams to meet deadlines and deliverables. Strong presentation and client‑facing skills. Proven ability to lead large teams, deliver strategic insights and drive accountability within a metric‑driven organisation. Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment with high creative and delivery standards. Capacity to travel to local markets for field visits.
