Who Are We Looking For We are seeking a Employment Lawyer to join a global, fast growing technology platform operating in the mobility and on demand services sector. The initial term is 6–12 months. This role is embedded within multidisciplinary teams and provides specialist legal expertise across employment, industrial relations, and workforce strategy. Location: Sydney – hybrid (3 days in CBD office). About The Role Provide day to day employment law advice to HR and business stakeholders, including performance management, disciplinary processes, terminations, and employee relations matters. Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and workplace documentation. Partner closely with product and operational teams to identify and mitigate employee related legal risks in new and evolving business initiatives. Advise on contractor models and workforce structuring across a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment. Manage and support employment litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters, including coordination with external counsel. Contribute to policy development and reform initiatives, including matters relating to the NSW workers compensation regime. Advise on and support the management of workers compensation claims and associated legal risks. Provide industrial relations advice across the ANZ business, supporting both delivery and mobility business lines. About You 3–9 years’ post qualification experience in employment and industrial relations law. Experience gained in private practice or in house, ideally within a corporate, technology, or high growth business. Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law, including modern awards and contractor models. Experience advising on employment disputes and managing legal and reputational risk. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams. What sets us apart?
