Senior AI Developer - Azure | LLMs | Full Stack Engineering Melbourne | Hybrid | Contract Opportunity We are partnering with a major enterprise transformation program seeking a hands‑on AI developer to help design, build and deploy enterprise‑grade AI solutions across a large-scale Azure environment. This is not a research or strategy role. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys building real‑world AI applications, integrating LLMs into production systems, and working across backend, cloud, APIs and modern frontend technologies. You will work across a complex technology landscape delivering AI‑enabled applications, APIs and workflows using Azure OpenAI and modern cloud‑native engineering practices. What you’ll be doing: Building production AI applications using Azure OpenAI and modern LLM frameworks Developing RAG pipelines, AI agents and intelligent workflows Designing and building secure APIs and microservices Developing modern React/TypeScript frontends with AI-enabled experiences Deploying and managing cloud-native workloads within Azure Working closely with architecture, integration, security and delivery teams Driving best practices across AI engineering, observability and DevOps What we’re looking for: Strong software engineering background with .NET, Python or NodeJS Experience building AI/LLM applications in enterprise environments Azure cloud engineering experience including Functions, App Services, AI Search, Key Vault and DevOps Experience with RAG, vector search, AI agents or prompt engineering Frontend capability across React and TypeScript Strong API development and integration experience Experience with Terraform/Bicep, containers or Kubernetes highly regarded Previous experience in regulated or enterprise‑scale environments beneficial Tech stack includes: Azure OpenAI React TypeScript .NET Python FastAPI Azure AI Search Terraform AKS APIs Microservices DevOps This is an opportunity to join a highly visible transformation program working on genuinely innovative AI initiatives within a modern enterprise environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
