Responsibilities Executing and adapting Mattel’s Global Media Strategy for APAC, ensuring alignment with global frameworks while reflecting market specific needs. Translating global strategy into clear regional media plans that support brand, commercial, and retail priorities. Leading the regional media agency relationship, ensuring strong execution, performance discipline, and compliance with global governance standards. Overseeing day to day agency planning, activation, reporting, and optimisation across the region. Holding agencies accountable to defined KPIs, quality standards, and timelines. Managing and developing the regional Mattel Media team, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight. Partnering with Regional Marketing, Commercial, and Brand teams to align media investment with market priorities and retail calendars. Collaborating with Global Media leadership, IAT teams, and Media Operations to ensure integrated execution. Partnering with Finance to manage regional A&P investment, ensuring disciplined pacing, optimisation, and ROI accountability. Monitoring campaign performance and driving in flight optimisation to improve media efficiency and effectiveness. Ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and financial transparency for media investment across the region. Driving adoption of global measurement frameworks, reporting tools, and performance standards. Analysing results and laddering up regional insights and learnings to inform ongoing media strategy refinement. Supporting media capability building, innovation adoption, and regional aspects of global media and IAT transitions. Qualifications Strong experience leading media strategy and execution across international or regional markets. Proven experience managing media agencies and in market performance delivery. Experience managing teams within matrixed, global organisations. Solid financial acumen with experience managing regional media budgets. Strong understanding of media performance, measurement frameworks, optimisation, and reporting. Ability to navigate market nuance while maintaining alignment to global strategy and governance standards. Strong cross functional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
