About The Role Queensland X-Ray is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mackay team. This part‑time position offers a stable schedule, rostered 3 to 4 days per week with 7.6‑hour shifts between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. This is a fixed part‑time roster with no late shifts or weekend requirements. The role is scheduled to commence in May 2026. Key responsibilities include: Managing the comprehensive care pathway for interventional patients, ensuring safe admission and recovery for procedures such as biopsies, therapeutic injections, and vascular access. Providing high‑level clinical support and patient monitoring within a multi‑modality environment, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure quality patient care. While experience in medical imaging is a plus, comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided. The remuneration and classification level is commensurate with Registered Nurse 5.2 to 5.7. Qualifications Full Registered Nurse AHPRA registration. Minimum 2 years of hospital experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional time management skills and sound decision making under pressure. Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care. Peripheral intravenous cannulation skills desirable. Current basic life support certification; ALS training provided. Benefits A welcoming and supportive culture.
