About Us We are a well-established Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service located on the grounds of Our Lady’s Assumption School operating in partnership with the school and our Approved Provider, Catholic Education Western Australia Ltd. Our purpose-built centre offers a dedicated OSHC environment – giving you your own space to lead, create, and deliver high-quality programs. About the Role This role has become available due to our current director going on maternity leave. The successful applicant will step into a well-run, established service. Being a maternity leave replacement, there is potential for this position to become ongoing. As the Centre Director, you will lead daily operations and continue to ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality program for children aged 4–12 years. Enjoy consistent hours (no split shifts), autonomy in your role, and the support of an experienced network. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations in line with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. Drive continuous improvement aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF). Ensure compliance with WA regulatory requirements and child safety standards. Lead and mentor a passionate team of educators. Build positive partnerships with children, families, staff, the school, and CEWA. Oversee staffing, rostering, budgeting, and administration. Foster a child-safe, inclusive environment where children’s voices are valued. Promote a collaborative, reflective team culture grounded in professional practice and Catholic values. Work closely with the School Principal and CEWA Care Services Team. The Ideal Candidate Organised, confident leader who values autonomy, teamwork, and quality practice. ACECQA‑approved qualification suitable for OSHC in WA. Proven leadership experience in OSHC, childcare or a similar setting. Strong knowledge of the My Time, OurPlace Framework and National Quality Standards. Strong understanding of compliance, operations, and quality improvement. Current First Aid, Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check. Willingness to complete National Child Safety Training. Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
