Department of the Premier & Cabinet WA – West Perth WA Position Details Level 8, $157,900 - $171,005 pa, PS CSA Agreement 2024 Position Number: DPC24015 Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Closing Date: 4:00 PM About the Role The Assistant Director is required to coordinate and support the Western Australian Government’s response and implementation of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap. This is to be achieved through leading a team of specialists in the provision of high-level policy support and advice, as well as working and influencing from a cross-portfolio perspective on identified socio‑economic targets and priority reforms. The position is also required to develop, lead and implement projects, research, data analysis in the achievement of the Western Australian response to Closing the Gap. In doing so, the Assistant Director will also be required to work collaboratively both across Government and with community in a culturally appropriate manner. Fixed Term Appointment Requirement To be eligible for fixed term appointment you must have a current visa that allows you to work for the required term and hours of the contract.
