Protech SA is currently seeking a Workshop Manager for a well-established Australian manufacturer of high-quality switchboards and engineered electrical solutions. About the Role Full time hours on offer, salary negotiated based on skills and experience 38-hour week (Monday to Friday) + weekend overtime available Leadership role with full ownership of a specialised division This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction and electrical manufacturing who can take full ownership of the end-to-end build of skid-mounted systems. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end manufacture of skid-mounted systems Oversee workshop operations including fabrication, assembly, and electrical integration Coordinate schedules, labour, and workflow to meet project deadlines Ensure all builds meet quality standards, client specifications, and compliance requirements Lead and mentor workshop teams, driving performance and accountability Work closely with engineering, project management, and clients Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement About You Proven experience in a workshop, construction, or manufacturing environment Strong background in electrical systems and/or switchboard manufacturing Experience overseeing projects from start to finish Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to manage trades and technical teams Solid understanding of workshop processes, safety, and compliance Ability to read and interpret technical drawings About Protech At Protech, we provide Great Work to Great People, with a commitment to safety, career development, and quality.
