Location: Orthopaedics/Surgical Short Stay Unit, Campbelltown Hospital – A71. Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, person‑centred orthopaedic and acute surgical nursing care from admission through to discharge. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, engaging confidently with patients, carers and allied health professionals. Apply evidence‑based critical thinking to provide high‑quality, culturally responsive care. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, WHS, risk management and quality improvement processes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold NSW Health clinical standards. Qualifications & Selection Criteria Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate, high‑quality care that is culturally responsive. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs. Demonstrated capacity to interact in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise. Demonstrated evidence of applying critical thinking to the delivery of evidence‑based nursing care. Commitment to safety and quality, including knowledge of WHS, risk management and continuous improvement in a clinical setting.
