The Registered Nurse Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals. You Will Need Demonstrated clinical experience in Emergency Department and Acute Care; Aged Care experience would be a bonus. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to provide direction and delegation to EN and PCA staff members. Details of Appointment Permanent full-time shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 5th July 2026. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $80,524 to $109,175 per annum, plus a 12% superannuation contribution. Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439-$109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4. Additional allowances: Post Graduate Allowance up to 10% based on qualification type. Salary Packaging Access to a salary package, including living expenses up to $9,010, $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, and other benefits if eligible. Regional Allowances District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family. Remote Professional Development Allowance of $4,062 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%. Benefits Available To Eligible Candidates Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas applicants and up to $10,000 for interstate applicants.
