The Role The Nurse Manager Education, Practice and Professional Development will manage and coordinate the nursing and midwifery education team to deliver outcomes aligned with organisational and professional goals. The position supports evidence‑based practice, innovation across clinical areas, and contributes to the strategic direction of RHW. Selection Criteria Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and a Registered Midwife (dual registration). Relevant postgraduate education and/or management qualification or equivalent work experience, with a demonstrated commitment to professional development. Proven ability to lead, manage and operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support person‑centred care practice. Experience assessing training needs, contributing to strategic and operational planning, and successfully facilitating, implementing and evaluating nursing and midwifery educational programs incorporating adult learning principles. Skill in identifying emerging trends and issues, and utilising change management to provide appropriate strategies. High level verbal and written communication skills for negotiating, influencing and informing decision‑making with diverse stakeholders to meet organisational priorities.
