Family Day Care Service Manager/Nominated Supervisor $90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience Family Day Care (FDC) Service Managers oversee the operational, educational, and compliance requirements of home-based childcare networks. They act as the Nominated Supervisor, lead Educator recruitment and mentoring, ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), and manage community relationships. We are seeking a passionate, compliance-driven, and strategic Family Day Care Service Manager to lead our network of home-based educators. In this role, you will shape quality, culture, and professional practice, strengthening compliance without losing the relationship-based care that makes Family Day Care unique. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Lead growth, retention, and quality across our home-based education network. Compliance & NQF: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, and the National Quality Standard (NQS) Educator Support: Mentor, monitor, and develop our FDC educators, assisting them with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and educational programming. Family Engagement: Oversee enrolments, address family inquiries, and build strong community partnerships. Operations & Administration: Manage service budgets, staff rosters, and workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols. Qualifications Qualifications: An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching Degree (ECT) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Experience Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification management or coordination experience within a Family Day Care or Children's Services setting. Compliance Knowledge Compliance Knowledge: Extensive understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation. Communication Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven capability to draft policies and procedures. Clearances Clearances: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and valid First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificates. Approved Child Protection Training and Child Safety Training corticates.
