Projects Manager We are seeking a Projects Manager to manage the end‑to‑end development of commercial proposals and the delivery of approved work orders and projects within a complex service operations environment. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal subject matter experts to produce fully costed, high‑quality proposals, secure approvals, and lead delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and budget. Key Responsibilities Develop fully priced, commercially sound proposals with customers and Leidos SMEs; secure internal approvals, obtain customer approval, and deliver proposals on time, compliant and approved at first pass. Plan and deliver approved work orders and projects within agreed scope, schedule and budget. Produce clear, accurate customer and internal reporting for proposals and projects, including status, risks/issues and financials. Report active and planned proposals and projects to internal and customer stakeholders, escalating issues early and resolving them promptly. Continuously improve survey & quote and project delivery practices to improve cycle time, quality and repeatability. Qualifications Direct practical experience in proposal preparation and hands‑on project management delivery, able to solve issues, build relationships and deliver business objectives, using both waterfall and agile methods. Relevant degree (or equivalent industry experience), and project management certification (e.g. CAPM, PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe, DSDM Agile or similar). Strong understanding of application lifecycle delivery, IT project estimation and commercial costing, project governance and change control, with experience producing estimates that withstand customer scrutiny. Experience in large program or service operations environments (preferably Federal Government or Defence), including contract‑based IT delivery models (fixed price / time & materials) and ITIL service management. Strong communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills; able to operate within corporate proposal/estimate processes, manage multiple priorities and risks, work autonomously or in teams, adapt to change, and demonstrate initiative and self‑motivation. Must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum NV-1 level security clearance and be willing to uplift to NV-2.
