Lead the development of innovative, futures-focused learning in The Arts and Technology at Collingwood Park State Secondary College. This is a temporary full-time position for 12 months, unless otherwise determined. Head of Department - The Arts / Technology You will guide a collaborative faculty, strengthen curriculum delivery, and support consistent, evidence-informed practice with a clear focus on improving student outcomes. Working within a growing and well-resourced school, you will play a key role in shaping a high-performing culture grounded in inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the school department and curriculum focus in developing and providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups. Be future-oriented and strategic. Understand legislation and policies impacting on the school department, students and staff.
