This role offers permanent employment, with opportunities to work in preferred specialty areas including Medical, Surgical, or the Emergency Department. As an ICU Registered Nurse you will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering person‑centred, safe, high‑quality care. You will support and supervise other nurses and care roles, and contribute to achieving exceptional care outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, appropriate, and responsive quality nursing practice in an Intensive Care Unit setting. Think critically and analyse nursing practice to deliver evidence‑based care. Engage in therapeutic and professional relationships with patients, families and the health team. Maintain capability for practice and develop plans for nursing practice. Evaluate patient outcomes to inform nursing practice. Advocate for and implement person‑centred practice. Effectively prioritise and organise own workload. Selection Criteria Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting. High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey key messages and concerns. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries. Current computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
