Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced motivated Workshop Manager to lead our Whyalla operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily workshop operations and production schedules Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of tradespeople and apprentices Ensure all work is completed to high quality and safety standards Coordinate materials, equipment, and labour to meet project deadlines Monitor and maintain project budgets, ensuring jobs are delivered within cost expectations Monitor workflow efficiency and implement process improvements Maintain compliance with WHS policies and industry regulations Liaise with management, clients, and suppliers as required Manage maintenance of workshop equipment and tools Qualifications Proven experience in workshop management, operations, and team leadership Relevant trade or engineering qualifications are an advantage Strong skills in scheduling, logistics, and maintaining workflow efficiency Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills Commitment to safety, compliance, and workplace health standards Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Familiarity with industry-specific tools, software, and safety protocols What We Offer Stable, full-time employment in a growing company Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real impact within the business How To Apply If you are ready to take the next step in your career and lead a dynamic workshop team, we'd love to hear from you.
