We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse Leader to join a high-performing clinical trial site network based in Bayswater, Melbourne . This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, managing teams, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of clinical trials. You will act as a key operational leader on‑site and step in to support senior management when required. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations, including patient flow and trial delivery Provide strong on‑site leadership and manage real‑time escalations Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders; conduct performance reviews and 1:1s Support workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation Drive a high‑performance, accountable team culture Ensure compliance with GCP, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements Support audits, inspections, and CAPA processes Monitor staff training, competency, and ongoing compliance Act as a key liaison between clinical teams, leadership, and stakeholders Lead operational meetings, handovers, and communication updates Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements Provide hands‑on clinical support during peak periods or trial start‑ups Step into the Clinical Trials Centre Manager role as needed Qualifications Registered Nurse with unrestricted AHPRA registration 5+ years clinical experience: 3+ years clinical trials experience; 2+ years in a leadership or management role Strong understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), ALCOA-C principles, Clinical trial operations Proven experience managing teams and driving performance Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑facing environment Location Bayswater, Melbourne (Office‑based role) Planet Pharma is an equal opportunities Recruitment Business and Agency.
