Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel Sydney – Hybrid working Our client, a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors, is seeking a property legal counsel to join its growing legal team. Reporting into the Head of Legal, this is a key role within the legal team providing legal support to the business across a variety of property‑related transactions including commercial leasing, property development matters, joint ventures, property acquisitions, sales and divestments. Key Responsibilities Providing legal advice on development agreements, joint ventures, property acquisitions, sales and divestments. Reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts including leasing agreements. Analyzing and identifying legal risks and implications for the business. Managing and building relationships with key stakeholders. Key Requirements Ideally a minimum of 4–6 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or an in‑house organization. Previous experience in property development and acquisitions and sales. Proven negotiation and project management skills. Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
