Position Description The Senior Social Media Manager is an experienced creative and producer hybrid. They are strategic thinkers and brilliant at nurturing relationships with their team and external providers. They understand our client’s needs back to front and consistently deliver best in class social and digital content. Responsibilities Building Jack Nimble’s Always On offering into a successful, creative and collaborative business unit Develop strong social media and content strategies that help brands achieve their goals Build and maintain relationships with clients to unlock brilliant results and business growth Analyse and interpret social media results to identify impactful insights and new opportunities for clients. Oversee reporting frameworks and KPIs with a strong focus on engagement and discoverability. Manage a team of creators who write, plan, create always on social media activity Manage production teams consisting of shooters, editors, animators and designers to get content made Understanding client briefs and translating into creative briefs Work with the broader creative team to assist with creative presentations and brainstorms Stay on top of social media trends and proactively identify new opportunities for clients Understanding business financials and ensuring clients are invoiced and paying on time Skills 7+ years’ experience in social media, ideally with experience both client-side and at an agency A strategic thinker, capable of developing social media strategies for various brands and drawing from performance data, platform trends and audience insights Strong reporting skills. Can lead reports and has a proven ability to draw out compelling insights to influence decisions and drive more impact. Excellent account management skills, ensuring each client feels like they are number one Has strong organisational and communication skills, capable of multi-tasking various projects Manages and leads teams, bringing out their creativity and best work in a positive environment Can delegate and brief tasks to content managers, copywriters, creatives creators and provide relevant feedback to make ideas better Has a strong understanding of business requirements and challenges faced by clients. Proven success working for multiple brands and content verticals.
