Ensures efficient provision of environments for the Operations Technology and Reform (OTR) Portfolio 2. Coordinates the delivery of infrastructure and environments on time 3. Develops and maintains environment plans to support OTR delivery Drive proactive release planning to minimise release issues and incidents in production 4. Work closely with the Cloud, Platform, Infrastructure and Network (CPIN) teams to provision hardware for OTR 5. Work closely with Retail and Wholesale environment and release leads to effectively manage OTR environments The role is vital to contribute to the success of Organisation's largest IT initiatives, ensuring a smooth and successful deployment of IT systems across Projects and BAU needs catering to all Energy Markets. Position responsibilities 1.Work closely with infrastructure architects to ensure infrastructure needs are documented and understood. 2. Develop and maintain a environment plan for the OTR portfolio covering Retail and Wholesale landscapes. 3. Coordinate and prioritise OTR infrastructure needs including hardware, cloud and network services with the CPIN team. 4. Coordinate the provisioning of environments for the OTR portfolio via the Retail and Wholesale environment team. 5. Manage environment bookings for projects across OTR. 6. Manage data refresh plans and data refresh activities as per the release test plan with the Retail and Wholesale environment team. 7. Manage enterprise dependencies that may affect OTR environment availability (e.g. outages, upgrades, site transfers, data centre changes etc). 8. Work with the Retail and Wholesale environment team to ensure security policies are correctly applied and adhered to. 9. Manage key stakeholder relationships including CPIN, Vendor and Commercial and Release Management teams. 10. Provide coverage for the Portfolio Release Manager role as required. 11. Ensure that all aspects of each environment are fit for purpose and supervises the execution of all environments activities in line with the program delivery plan. 12. Coordinate the capture of all environment requirements into the Work Package, working closely with Retail and Wholesale Environment & Release Leads and engaging with Test Managers, Architects, and Business stakeholders, ensuring all architectural changes (brownfield and greenfield), environment needs, and testing requirements are comprehensively documented prior to execution, for subsequent review and validation by Retail and Wholesale Environment & Release Leads.
