The Position A well-established construction organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a hands‑on role owning payroll and supporting accounts, and works closely with senior management to ensure the smooth financial and administrative operation of the business. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for salaried employees and site-based work workforce (approx 80 employees); Interpret and work with EBAs and Awards within MYOB; Manage all statutory lodgements, compliance and reporting obligations; Accounts payable and accounts receivable management, ensuring accurate processing and approvals; Month‑end journals, general ledger reconciliations, and preparation of management reports; Ad hoc support for the broader team and a process improvement mindset. Skills & Experience Proven experience in payroll (experience within the construction or project‑based environment is highly regarded); Knowledge of MYOB; High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance; Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑focused approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
