This opportunity would suit a lawyer with 5-6 years’ experience who is looking to step into a broad and commercially significant role. We’re seeking a commercially minded and proactive front‑end construction lawyer to join a high‑performing and small legal team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of front‑end construction and project development work and the chance to work closely with a business operating in the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors. About the Role Lead and support the negotiation and drafting of a broad range of construction and project‑related contracts. Advise on legal and commercial risks across major infrastructure and resources projects. Support stakeholders across project, procurement and commercial teams. Manage external counsel where required. Assist with governance and internal compliance processes. Contribute to strategic project delivery and business growth initiatives. What we’re looking for Admitted to practise in Australia. 5-6 years’ experience in construction or projects, gained at a top‑tier law firm. Strong transactional experience, with exposure to a broad range of construction contracts. Experience in the mining sector is advantageous but not essential. A mix of transactional and disputes experience will be considered. Strong technical, commercial and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
