Job Overview Associate – Energy & Infrastructure Projects (Sydney, full‑time, permanent). The role offers a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative, high‑performing team on some of the most complex transactions in the market. Responsibilities Advise key players in the energy and infrastructure sector on complex transactions such as offtake and power purchase agreements, connection agreements, construction documents, operating and maintenance arrangements, and development agreements. Provide subject‑matter expertise for acquisitions and disposals of energy assets, including legal due diligence, transaction drafting and completion. Conduct legal and regulatory analysis for energy and infrastructure projects, covering approval pathways, risk allocation, and interface issues. Contribute to business‑development efforts within the energy and infrastructure sector. Qualifications / About you Experience advising on a broad range of project‑development transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector at a well‑regarded international or Australian firm. Ability to work independently and manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters. Strong team ethic and willingness to mentor and share knowledge. Interest in building client relationships and developing effective working relationships. Willingness to participate in business‑development activities such as pitch documents, pursuits, industry events and seminars. Ability to establish a professional profile and internal networks.
