We take pride in our superior service level and celebrate our employees – the heart of our company’s success Responsibilities Role Overview Redpath is seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent to lead underground operations at the Federation Mine. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing production, safety, and workforce performance on a major underground development project. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to underground mining teams Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently Manage supervisors, operators, and contractors across multiple crews Ensure compliance with site safety systems, statutory requirements, and company standards Monitor and improve operational performance, productivity, and cost control Coordinate mine schedules in line with development and production plans Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Mentor and develop supervisors and emerging leaders Liaise with client representatives and senior management Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications About You Previous experience in a Superintendent or senior leadership role Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills Demonstrated experience managing safety and operational performance' Sound understanding of underground mining methods, equipment, and systems Ability to interpret and implement mine plans and schedules Statutory qualifications (highly regarded depending on site requirements) Valid driver’s licence Ability to work on a rotational roster (2/2 or as required) Why Join Redpath Redpath offers a stable, long-term opportunity where your contribution is valued and your development is supported.
