The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. About the Role: Working closely with our Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in managing our financial operations - from monthly reporting and reconciliations to compliance and statutory requirements. This is a hands‑on position where you'll contribute to the financial health of one of the NRL's most iconic clubs. What You'll Be Doing: Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Leading month‑end and year‑end processes Managing compliance obligations including BAS/GST returns Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions Supporting audit processes and budget preparation What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce CA/CPA qualified (or working toward completion) 3-5 years' post‑graduate accounting experience Strong technical accounting knowledge Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero or similar) Proactive mindset with ability to identify and implement process improvements Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with sports or non‑profit organisations is a plus Why Join Us?
