We are seeking a Site Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Merredin Solar Farm. Reporting to the O&M Manager, the Site Lead will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the solar farm while maintaining optimal performance of all equipment. Key Results Areas Promote the safety of people, Zero Harm Identify task hazards and assess task risks and implement strategies to control risks Plant and minimise LTI’s and HEI’s and environmental incidents Issue work permits and insure the people attending site are inducted Meet or exceed Operational Availability, 99%, of the MerredinSolar Farm Completing all inspection and testing work according to the required schedule Identifying any condition-based maintenance requirements, gain the required approvals, schedule and complete the work Work with other Risen Technical skills to ensure solar plant performance gaps are resolved as quickly as practical Manage the site budget and report emerging issues that will impact the delivery of the Budget commitment Ensure all work (labour and materials) is accounted for by the Services providers Check invoicing promptly and minimise work in progress Ensure tasks are scheduled, approved and carried out to meet or exceed Risen performance guarantee Manage the site spares inventory and ensure spares are replenished after use as quickly as possible Improve contract management processes and work quality to meet correct standards Monitor and control all resource requirements to meet workgroup business needs Identify skill gaps and recommend training or recruitment to ensure correct skills are available Contribute strongly to the development Risen Manage CMMS system to ensure jobs under your control are always in a known state Ability to prioritise, schedule, and logistically support multiple projects in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines Able to create asset maintenance plans in CMMS Entry of OA requests in the procurement system, as well as tracking available funds in maintenance blanket purchase orders Scheduling preventive maintenance activities through a common, network-wide CMMS and may also help with floor activities as needed Providing training so each tech understands and is able to utilise the CMMS tool Interacting with other similar roles in the network to share best practices, lessons learned, and even plan and setup central network parts storage where value-added Skills and Experience Electrician License holder, preferred to be a nominee on an electrician contractor's license HV switching qualifications and experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry Knowledge of solar plant operations, including inverters, transformers, and other electrical equipment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate the work of others effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Familiarity with SCADA systems and other plant control systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred but not mandatory #J-18808-Ljbffr
