Your Responsibilities: Oversee the operations of the service, lead, guide and support a team which provides high‑quality early childhood education and care to children while ensuring compliance across all areas. Create a warm, engaging and safe environment for children, families and educators. Oversee all daily operations with a focus on excellence and compliance. Maintain a strong community presence and foster positive family relationships to support occupancy growth through quality programs and engagement. Manage team performance, development and wellbeing. Roster to maintain ratios. Work within the values and philosophy of Milligan House. Ensure high‑quality education aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. Act as the Nominated Supervisor for the service. Work with the Centre Management Committee to oversee and manage the centre’s budget and maintain facility standards. You’ll be perfect for this role if you have the following: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care minimum (ACECQA approved). Minimum of 1 year experience in a Centre Director role (large daycare setting). Knowledge of not for profit organisations. WA Working with Child Check. Mandatory Child Protection Training. National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain). A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and law and a passion for high‑quality education. First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates or willing to obtain. Natural leadership, strong time management and the ability to maintain a great team. Understanding of financial and administrative tasks. Confident managing centre operations independently.
