About the Role The Department of Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the West Coast District Hospital. The hospital provides 9 sub‑acute care beds, including 1 palliative suite, an emergency first response unit, and a 16‑bed aged‑care residential facility. Visiting services include radiology, diabetic clinic, physiotherapy and podiatry. Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, high‑quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals. Work Conditions Permanent, full‑time or part‑time shift work up to 76 hours per fortnight (hours negotiable). Position will cover any subsequent full‑time, part‑time or casual vacancies for up to twelve months from publication. Salary and Allowances Base salary: $80 524 to $109 175 per annum (pro‑rata). Superannuation contribution: 12% on top. Post‑graduate allowance: up to 10% based on qualification. Remote and rural professional development allowance: $3 699 per annum plus an additional 10% salary allowance. Salary packaging options for living expenses (up to $9 010) and meal entertainment ($2 650) per FBT year.
