Overview Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services comprises three business units — Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice — and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. This role supports the delivery and ongoing availability of a critical Defence capability based in Adelaide. Responsibilities Support the planning, coordination and delivery of sustainment activities across a complex Defence capability. Contribute to the development and maintenance of project planning, reporting and performance management processes. Monitor project schedules, risks, issues and financial performance. Prepare briefs, reports, correspondence and committee submissions to support decision-making. What Youll Bring (Qualifications and Experience) Experience supporting projects, sustainment activities or complex programs within Defence, Government or industry environments. Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills. Experience preparing reports, briefs and stakeholder communications. Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Security and Compliance Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with ITAR requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
