NEP Australia is currently looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team at Eveleigh, NSW! This hybrid role is primarily Monday to Friday business hours. About the Role The incumbent will support the day-to-day management of NEP's IT systems, provide specialised support to escalated issues, collaborate with the broader technology teams, actively participate as a key resource in organisational projects, work closely with 3rd party vendors and continually innovate to improve organisational productivity, capability, and service levels. This position will ideally suit a candidate with a solid experience in a system administration role supporting VMware, HP, Nimble, Windows & Linux Servers, Hybrid Active Directory, Citrix, Veeam, Exchange Online, OKTA, SQL and some scripting experience. Key Responsibilities but not limited to: Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly. Ensure the effectiveness of data backup and recovery processes. Collaborate with local and international teams as required. Adhere to internal procedures including security protocols, change control, and incident management. Assist in planning and executing IT projects and upgrades. Serve as an escalation point for First Level Support Staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Required skills and attributes: Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server Experience administering Active Directory Experience administering Exchange Online Experience administering switches Proficiency with VMWare Proficiency with PowerShell Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Familiarity with Okta or other IAM platforms. Able to work autonomously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong time and task management abilities with keen attention to detail. Team-building skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. About You Being proactive and a desire to learn are key attributes for this role. You are able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
