About the Role We are looking for an experienced, passionate and critical‑thinking Production Team Lead to lead the production team that delivers our portfolio of “touring and recurring experiences” in the Australia & New Zealand market as well as taking ownership on some top priority projects. This person will oversee all aspects of production conducted in the region, ensuring that high‑quality experiences are delivered across the board. Australia is one of Fever’s best performing markets; this role will oversee the production of a wide variety of exciting experiences across all verticals and from around the world. You will Manage the Australia Production team on regional FO productions, creating a supportive team environment, and focusing on the development of team members, Assess regional projects and assign within the team or to freelancers as needed, Support the team to manage priorities, oversee progress towards deliverables and find solutions to complex situations, Provide production expertise to support in the feasibility and planning stages of the pipeline development, Manage kit movement, trucking plans, and cross‑loading between sites, Venue preparation: overseeing venue procurement, permits, insurance and technical validation for various site types (e.g. parks, stadiums or open fields), Responsibility for build costing, monitoring budgets and identifying potential cost overruns proactively, Support Production Directors and Show Support Directors on the development of production tools and processes to streamline practices and optimise efficiency, Maintain an up‑to‑date directory of freelancers and service providers and an active personal network of contacts within the industry, Communicate and collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables, Manage multiple productions and help scale some of Fever’s biggest Original IPs against team targets, working with and adapting the Global IP standards to suit the particular needs of your region, Support the wider originals team in the development of new events, implementing new production formats and ensuring Fever remains up to date and ahead of the curve on emerging technologies and solutions that can enhance Fever’s experiences, Research new vendors, technologies, experiences, Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and working with the legal department on contracts, Domestic and international travel and work across time zones will be required. Preferred Qualifications You have a successful track record of production management of live or experiential events, immersive experiences, and/or permanent attractions with strong oral and written communication skills. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset. You have experience, but also an ability to think from a business perspective. Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment/events industry. You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment and bring innovative ideas about how to create compelling experiences. Candidates must be proficient in: Permitting: Deep knowledge of local government approvals, including event permits, planning, building and signage Liquor Licensing: Experience navigating Australian liquor regulations, which can be complex and vary by state. Safety Standards: Working knowledge of BCA requirements, safety standards, and fire codes for public indoor and outdoor spaces. Requirements 7+ years of experience in the live event production industry 1-2 years of people management experience Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of a production in an organized and efficient way in a fast‑paced environment Have an innovative and solution‑focused mindset to identify problems and find creative solutions Experience in personnel management and team talent development Leadership, initiative and clear prioritization skills A broad network of vendors and venues, and experience with productions issues such as permitting, rules and regulations A strong understanding of technical production requirements and basic understanding of fabrication techniques Curious, with an appetite for learning, keen to push boundaries and try new concepts, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly Able to communicate with partners, brands, agencies, and talent on efforts, working collaboratively and willing to be hands‑on Experience as construction manager or in construction of a theatre involving the management of contractors is a plus.
