Configure, deploy, and manage Check Point and Fortinet firewalls. Monitor firewall performance, logs, and security alerts. Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN configurations, and access control lists. Perform regular firewall rule reviews and optimization. Troubleshoot network and security issues related to firewalls. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and policies. Work with SOC/NOC teams to respond to security incidents. Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and system hardening. Support IPSec and SSL VPN configurations. Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and incident reports. Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with: Check Point Firewalls (R80.x, SmartConsole, Gaia OS) Good understanding of: Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) Routing & switching concepts VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL) NAT, VLANs, ACLs Experience with firewall log analysis and troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of security best practices and threat mitigation. Familiarity with SIEM tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with large enterprise organizations in domains such as Financial Services, Telecom, Banking, or other highly regulated environments.
