Responsibilities Deliver accurate and timely Fund and Project reporting, including quarterly unit price investor reporting and project variance analysis to investors and the business. Hands‑on involvement in all aspects of accounting and reporting. Lead and mentor a team to achieve high‑quality reporting and advice to the business. Manage statutory reporting, audit, debt and tax compliance, and investment administration across a range of funds and entities. Respond promptly to investor queries and reporting requests, including operational and compliance reporting requirements. Serve as a key relationship manager with auditors, tax advisors, legal advisors and investors. Conduct quality control reviews of financial reporting for other funds/projects. Manage compliance risk with regulatory bodies and stakeholders, including FIRB, AUSTRAC, and AFS License. Forecast cash‑flow for funds and projects. Act as the BREA finance contact with Global Barings functional teams for reporting and advisory on funds, transactions, fees and reporting. Participate in Asia Pacific Real Estate transactions as required by the APAC Real Estate team. Provide technical accounting and tax advisory on fund and real‑estate transactions, covering unit price valuations, transaction structuring, asset acquisition, hold and disposal, and direct and indirect taxes. Stay current on accounting and tax legislation changes and support the business with relevant updates and training sessions. Ensure fund operations comply with fund documentation and internal compliance obligations. Maintain fund/project accounting policies, working documents, and continuous documentation of procedures. Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives in fund operations to adopt best‑practice processes. Qualifications and Skills 8+ years of professional accounting qualification and 10+ years of accounting experience. Strong attention to detail. Team player with essential people‑management experience. Experience in funds management or the property industry essential. Experience with large accounting systems, e.g., MRI.
