As our Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll partner directly with our General Counsel & Company Secretary and work within the Office of the CEO—giving you exceptional exposure to senior leaders, major strategic initiatives, and diverse legal challenges across the group. This is a 12-month (Maternity leave cover) opportunity perfect for a confident, commercially minded Senior Lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment. Why You’ll Love This Role You’ll be advising across a broad and interesting portfolio across corporate, commercial, aged care/NDIS, privacy, property, employment law, intellectual property, insurance and regulatory compliance. No two days look the same. You’ll influence decisions, shape risk frameworks, drive legal excellence, and provide pragmatic, business-aligned advice that supports our leaders and helps our organisation thrive. What You’ll Be Doing Working closely with the GC & Legal team on major projects, risk, training and compliance initiatives Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including high-value revenue and IT contracts Supporting tender submissions and key commercial opportunities Managing aspects of the group insurance program and claims Providing company secretariat support to parent and subsidiary boards Delivering practical legal advice across corporate, commercial, employment, IP, privacy, property, insurance and health-related regulatory issues Assisting with mandatory notifications to regulators (AHPRA, ACQSC, NDIS Commission) Supporting employee investigations, and managing disputes and litigation Building strong partnerships with leaders across the business to ensure compliance and sound risk management Maintaining legal precedents and engaging external counsel where required What You Bring Admitted solicitor in Australia with 6+ years PQE Outstanding written, verbal and stakeholder-management skills Sharp analytical ability and exceptional drafting skills Confidence working autonomously and managing multiple priorities Ability to quickly absorb new areas of law and provide pragmatic, commercial solutions Who You’ll Work With You’ll be part of a high-performing Legal team, partnering every day with business leaders and stakeholders across the organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
