Damien Cole Group is looking for an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in Xero to join our team on a short term contract basis. As an Accountant Xero familiar, you will play a crucial role in on boarding Xero software into our small office ,to be used within a new small business,we are creating.. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your Xero skills . What you'll be doing Manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities for small to medium-sized businesses, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax preparation,BAS Utilise Xero to record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, generate financial reports, to management Assist with the implementation and optimisation of Xero for our admin staff . Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Contribute to the improvement of the company's accounting processes and procedures What we're looking for Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment Demonstrated proficiency in using Xero for all accounting function Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our small family oriented office Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in a small business..
