In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals seeking help providing timely, high-quality mental health triage and risk assessment, and guiding people to the right care pathways, including referrals across NSW mental health services. You’ll bring a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, supporting people in moments that matter most. Your work will directly influence safe, effective outcomes and help shape positive experiences across the mental health system. Be part of a new program with genuine impact from day one Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support from our experienced Senior Clinicians Work alongside a passionate, values-driven team who care deeply about what they do Access a wide range of professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars and MCI training programs What we need from you: Minimum 3 years full time equivalent experience in an acute mental health setting and /or high acuity mental health setting Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Mental Health Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy Current professional registration with the relevant governing body, AHPRA for registered health practitioners, AASW membership with Accredited Mental Health Social Worker status (AMHSW)and for Registered Nurses, AHPRA registration and post graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing. Current NSW Working with Children Check Current National Police Check Ability to undertake clinical risk assessments, adhere to escalation protocols and referral protocols. Attention to detail, self-motivated and reliable with the ability to follow administration and reporting procedures with accuracy and efficiency Demonstrated excellence in communication with clients and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary health professionals Ability to work across different platforms to deliver services Ready to join At APM we are strengthened by diversity.
