The Organisation Seqwater is a large, complex and purpose‑driven organisation responsible for providing water for more than three million people across Southeast Queensland. Operating in a highly regulated, asset‑intensive and safety‑critical environment, Seqwater manages a significant portfolio of infrastructure and services essential to community wellbeing. The Role Reporting to a Senior Leader within the Digital, Technology and Information group, this senior leadership role is responsible for establishing and leading Seqwater’s enterprise‑wide transformation function and driving the design and delivery of the Enterprise Target Operating Model (ETOM). This is a hands‑on transformation leadership role focused on execution, not just strategy. You will build and mature the enterprise transformation capability and oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives across the organisation. The role carries a clear cost‑out and value realisation focus, delivered through process optimisation, vendor management, demand management and disciplined benefits realisation. You will maintain an enterprise‑wide view of transformation activity, actively managing priorities, cadence, dependencies and trade‑offs to reduce fragmentation and duplication under constrained capacity. A key requirement is the ability to deliver quick wins and identify “gold in the small stuff”, while embedding sustainable transformation capability beyond individual programs. Digital, data, analytics and automation are important enablers of this role, supporting better decision‑making, improved performance and more effective delivery across the value chain. You will operate within existing governance frameworks, strengthening prioritisation, portfolio discipline and decision transparency where required. This role requires visible, credible leadership of change. You will work closely with executives, senior leaders and initiative owners, hold stakeholders to account, and embed consistent ways of working and continuous improvement practices across Seqwater, while maintaining strong operational, safety and regulatory discipline. What You Will Bring You will bring hands‑on senior level experience leading enterprise‑wide transformation in large, complex organisations, with a strong ability to translate strategy into coordinated delivery and measurable results. Key qualifications: Proven experience leading large‑scale, enterprise‑wide transformation programs, operating at portfolio or enterprise level rather than isolated projects or programs Experience designing and delivering target operating models, with accountability for embedding them into day‑to‑day operations A strong hybrid strategy and delivery capability, able to translate strategic intent into executable initiatives and oversee delivery across multiple concurrent streams A clear focus on value and benefits realisation, including financial and non‑financial outcomes, ensuring transformation activity delivers tangible business impact Demonstrated ability to drive delivery outcomes, remove blockers and hold senior stakeholders and initiative owners to account A genuine “builder” mindset, with experience standing up and maturing a transformation or portfolio function from the ground up, rather than inheriting an established capability The ability to embed continuous transformation and continuous improvement, beyond time bound programs, creating sustainable enterprise capability Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills across executive leadership, business unit leaders, and Strategy, Finance, Risk and Technology teams A practical, execution‑oriented approach that balances governance discipline with operational delivery realities Alignment with Seqwater’s values of integrity, respect, care and courage Utilities or water sector experience is beneficial but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
