About This Role Our Brisbane campuses are looking for a full‑time Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator with at least two years of full‑time work experience in an Early Childhood setting. The role is for a Diploma qualified Room Leader and offers an annual salary of $68,865 – $80,000 + Super, depending on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children. Provide childcare services that comply with the national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and support the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Facilitate a nurturing and loving environment for children at the campus. Implement the Grow curriculum within the campus. Document children’s learning through the OAC Connect app and support and mentor other team members. Create and set up interesting learning environments in line with OAC Grow. Maintain and support the delivery and maintenance of routines and programs specific to the room, including small groups. Provide ongoing input for all documentation associated with the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) requirements. Work as a team and support and respect other team members about developmental outcomes and school readiness in consultation with the Campus Director. Inspire children through play‑based and interest‑focused activities. Mentor a team of Educators through educational guidance. Create meaningful partnerships with families, children, and educators to achieve positive outcomes for all children in care. Plan and program with support from the OAC Grow Curriculum and EYLF. Maintain ongoing records of children’s development. Assist with daily room tasks, e.g., activity preparation and meal times. Maintain an ongoing commitment to child safety and wellbeing in everyday practices. Qualifications & Experience A Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognised Registered Training Organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification). Minimum of two years full‑time relevant work experience. A genuine passion for Early Childhood education and development. A creative, supportive and cooperative team player. Current Working with Children Check (Employee). Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF. Experience with programming, planning and snapshots. Experience managing the team within the room. Skills in communicating and liaising with parents and families. Skills in documenting children’s learning. Experience establishing room routines.
