Overview Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in insurance broking? This is a rare opportunity to join a growing brokerage and play a key role in driving new business while managing an existing portfolio. We’re seeking a self-sufficient and highly motivated Business Development Manager to generate new business and manage a book of existing clients. This role is best suited to someone who thrives on networking, building relationships, and closing deals rather than waiting for leads to be handed over. You’ll be supported by a capable team, but your focus will be sales. Expect clear KPIs and goals, with strong commission incentives for every deal you bring in. About the Role What will you be doing? Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain referral networks across the industry and community. Manage and grow an existing portfolio (target income: $200k). Join networking groups and represent the business in a professional and engaging way. Develop long-term relationships with clients. What do you need? 10+ years’ experience in insurance broking and/or business development. Proven track record of generating and securing new business. Holds a Diploma or Tier 1 qualification . Outgoing, confident, and extroverted – you enjoy meeting people and building relationships. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working towards ambitious sales goals. What is on Offer?
